“Every summer, our PAL officer takes us to Atlantic City to see all the bikes cross the Tour de Shore finish line. We wake up really early and Officer Wells picks us up in the van. The riders are always happy to see us as they come into Atlantic City, so we love to cheer and make a lot of noise for them. It’s a special reward for us kids to go with Officer Wells to support the riders. It’s such a fun day! Money that the Tour de Shore raises for PAL helps my center stay open all year long. My PAL center is the best place in the world to hang out. I get help with my homework, play sports and games and meet a lot of friends. My PAL officer is like a parent to me, and she always make me feel very safe when I’m at the center. I don’t know where I would go if my center wasn’t open, so I’m thankful that groups like the Irish Pub Children’s Foundation help PAL.”

“The Fraternal Order of Police is proud to stand tall alongside the Irish Pub for this year’s Tour de Shore bike ride. This is a wonderful event which helps a number of Police Charities, and one that is near to our heart here in Philadelphia… The Survivor’s Fund. We look forward to making this the largest ride to date and are glad to be such an important part of it.”

25 years is an amazing accomplishment and I have been absolutely honored to be a part of this ride for the past 4 years. We get to do a lot of things out here in Montgomery County, but I can’t think of anything we do that is more fun than Wheels of Justice riding 65 miles with all of our friends from the Irish pub from Philadelphia down to Atlantic City.”

“I have been a proud sponsor of the Tour de Shore which benefits the Irish Pub Children’s Foundation for over 20 years, but more than that, I’m proud to participate in the region’s main event for benefitting children and fallen police heroes in Philadelphia and South Jersey.  The Tour de Shore has been a tremendous team building event for our company.  Our employees, customers, and partners take part in the ride every year.  We all look forward to it throughout the year.  For us, it is very gratifying to help those who put their lives on the line for us.”

“It's been my pleasure to ride in the Tour de Shore for the last several years, raising money for police charities and kids in need. A nicer group of 1,000 people you will never meet. This past summer, I had the added thrill of riding with my three sons, ages 16, 14 and 12, My youngest son and I rode on a tandem. I can't say it was easy, but when it was over, we both had a tremendous sense of accomplishment. I have been proud to be associated with Mark O'Connor, Cathy Burke and all those whose efforts make this event so successful.”
